For all legislative materials to do with the Territory. An easy to use site, the ACT Legislation Register provides access to Acts, Bills, regulations, approved forms, commencement notices, explanatory statements and other legislative information.
The Australasian Legal Information Institute (AustLII) provides free internet access to Australian legal materials. AustLII publishes public legal information: that is, primary legal materials (legislation, treaties and decisions of courts and tribunals); and secondary legal materials created by public bodies for purposes of public access (law reform and royal commission reports etc).
In addition to providing a useful overview of the various levels of government, this site also provides links to legal resources such as courts, legislation and case law materials.
ComLaw is the authorised site for Commonwealth legislation and legislative instruments. It includes the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments (FRLI) that was established on 1 January 2005 under section 20 of the Legislative Instruments Act 2003.
Findlaw Australia provides access to cases handed down in the last 30 days, links to legislation sites, and articles on specific legal topics. It also provides daily news stories of a legal nature and a current alerting service for new legislation and topic updates.
A free site to Australian court judgments and tribunal decisions. Cases are hyperlinked and searching by citation using CaseTrace is possible. A digest feature is available and an alert service may also be set up.
This site is a useful gateway for Australian legislation, parliamentary materials, judgments, court lists and court home pages.
