Function of the Tribunal
The Administrative Appeals
Tribunal is established by the Administrative Appeals Tribunal Act
1989. It is required to follow the procedures and exercise its
powers in accordance with the provisions of the Administrative Appeals
Tribunal Act 1989. The Tribunal comprises two divisions, the General
Division and the Land and Planning Division.
The Land and Planning Division deals with decisions
made under the Land (Planning and Environment) Act 1991, Tree
Protection Act 2005 and the Heritage Act 2004.
